Always start with the temperature range printed on the spool label, then fine-tune with a temperature tower. Bed adhesion matters more than most beginners expect: a clean bed, correct first-layer height and the right bed temperature solve most early print failures.

Keep filament dry

Many filaments absorb moisture from the air, which can cause stringing, bubbles and weak prints. Store opened spools in airtight boxes with desiccant, or use a filament dryer before printing — especially for PETG and TPU.

Buying smart

Multi-roll bundles usually lower the cost per kilogram, which makes sense for colours and materials you use often. For a new material, buy a single spool first and test it with your printer before committing to a bundle.
